Assisted Credit Service's Tricor reports take into consideration all of the different business demographic factors on the company in question, such as: number of employees, years in business, industry stability, bill paying history, barriers to entry, receivables, assets, liabilities, cash flow, reporting bureaus and government databases. Tricor can help you summarize critical information about a company so you can:
- Decide whether to do business with a company
- Quickly and intelligently assess the business risk of lower-balance transactions
- Avoid surprises from current customers when you review them for credit increases
- Quickly determine whether you can confidently make a credit decision concerning your new customer or if further investigation is needed
The report also helps you:
- Review your own company's credit file for completeness and accuracy
- Learn how your company compares with others in your industry
- Develop a strategy to improve your company's credit standing by examining the strengths and weaknesses of your file
The Tricor scoring system is constantly updated using information from our client base and all of the major reporting sites. Tricor scores help clients to quickly gauge the risks associated with deciding not to take immediate action on past-due accounts.
Tricor scores can range between 200 and 900, with a higher score indicating a lower risk. With many scoring models available today, the type used varies from client to client. But regardless of what scoring model is used, the goal is the same: to summarize a debtor's financial worthiness. Other factors, such as a company's owner or officers' financial health are also considered.
What a Tricor Score Means?
Debtors with liquid assets, a solid credit history, and the ability to pay will have a higher Tricor score and should easily receive favorable loan terms and offers with little or no down payment.
What this Means to You?
Tricor scores and analysis help clients improve collection problems and reduce write-offs. The overriding benefit is the open and easy access of Tricor scores to other clients in our network. Our exhaustive database—Tricor scores on millions of debtors—is accessible to every Assisted Credit Services client. Plus, the database is updated every 72 hours.
What factors Lower Tricor Scores?
We track each instance that a Tricor report is requested on a debtor. Basically, the more inquiries, the lower the score falls. Inquiries stay on a Tricor report for up to two years; too many inquiries may indicate that debtors pay their bills only when placed in collection.
What Factors Raise Tricor Scores?
Companies that pay outstanding debt once placed for collections, and do not have several past- due accounts or derogatory information receive higher scores.
